Elaine Yanlin Yue, CPA, CFP®
Elaine Yue, a New York State Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and CFP Board Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) with a deep commitment to helping small to mid-sized businesses and high-net-worth individuals navigate the complexities of tax planning, preparation and business advisory. Elaine holds a master’s degree in accounting from Queens College-CUNY and a bachelor’s degree in information management & information systems from Xidian University in Xi’an, China. After becoming a licensed CPA in 2015, she founded YYL CPA P.C., where she has since built a reputation for delivering expert tax and accounting services.
A devoted mother of six, Elaine’s journey from Hunan, China, to New York, the United States in 2009 has been nothing short of inspiring. Along the way, she has earned her CPA and CFP licenses, founded YYL CPA from the ground up, and become a passionate marathon runner & yogi—interest she first discovered in college in 2003.
Elaine is also an active leader in her community. She served as President of the Chinese American Society of CPAs (CASCPA) from 2020 to 2023 and is a proud member of CASCPA, NCCPAP & ASTPS. Additionally, Elaine actively contributes to nonprofit organizations, including Scouting America. Her dedication to service is encapsulated in her personal philosophy: “Life is a marathon—through perseverance and determination, you can achieve your goal and cross the finish line with a smile.”
Li Qin, Senior Tax & Accountant, IRS Enrolled Agent
Li Qin, an IRS Enrolled Agent with a strong background in accounting and taxation and a commitment to delivering excellent client service.. Li joined YYL CPA in 2016 as a staff accountant after earning her A.S. degree in Accounting from ASA College. She later earned her B.S. degree in Accounting from Baruch College, CUNY in 2023.
With over a decade of experience at YYL CPA and becoming an IRS Enrolled Agent in 2019, Li has developed expertise in tax preparation, planning and consulting for business entities and high-net-worth individuals, bookkeeping, business entity formation, IRS & State tax resolution, and FIRPTA compliance filing etc. She is known for her attention to detail and ability to navigate complex tax matters with accuracy and care.
Outside of work, Li enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, and exploring new recipes and cuisines, These interests help her maintain balance and bring creativity to both her personal and professional life.
Thomas Klein, Tax Accountant
Thomas Klein is a Tax & Accounting Professional at YYL CPA, where he works closely with clients to deliver accurate, efficient, and reliable tax and accounting services. He joined the firm in 2024 and has been mentored by Elaine Yue, CPA, gaining hands-on experience in tax preparation, financial reporting, and client service.
Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Queens College in 2025. He is dedicated to delivering a seamless client experience by ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail in every engagement. He is also a strong advocate for leveraging AI-driven solutions at YYL CPA to enhance efficiency and innovation.
Outside of work, Thomas enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and camping, as well as working on cars and cooking. He brings a strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset to both his personal interests and professional work.
Jiayin “Yin” Li, Client Service Coordinator
Jiayin “Yin” Li is an Administrative Professional at YYL CPA, where she supports daily operations and administrative coordination, billing, and client service matters.
Yin began her career in Guangzhou at a financial investment company, where she served as an Executive Assistant to the General Manager. She later gained experience in healthcare administration and worked as an Executive Secretary in a private investment office in the USA.
Yin holds a bachelor’s degree in Business English from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail contribute to efficient internal operations and positive client experience.
Outside of work, Yin enjoys practicing yoga and maintaining an active lifestyle. As a certified yoga instructor, she is passionate about wellness and mindful living.
